Early Help Assessment Training

As part of the Early Help Assessment training offer we are pleased to offer the following training sessions for all multiagency colleagues.

Early Help Assessment Training:

 The Early Help Assessment Pathway training has been designed to look at the Early Help Service and how to request support from Early Help, as well as how to effectively complete the Early Help Assessment, developing SMART plans to empower families to make positive changes.

 Aims of the workshop:

 To explore the new Early Help Assessment paperwork and how to use analysis to formulate a SMART outcome based plan for families.

 Workshop Learning Outcomes:

 By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

•             Explain the Early Help Assessment process and the role of the Lead Professional.

•             Use a case study to describe how to formulate a SMART plan for a family.

•             Identify the importance of the voice of the child and young person in assessments and how to gain these.
